For the week of 4 to 10 October, the number of people testing positive for COVID-19 has increased from 591 to 675 cases (+14%), as well as the number of their identified close contacts, which increased to 3,540, compared to 2,827 cases the week before (+25%).

Vaccination campaign for secondary school students from 18 October 2021
The Ministry of Health, the High Commission for National Protection and the Ministry of Education, Children and Youth are launching a vaccination campaign for young people in collaboration with secondary schools.

For the week of 6 to 12 September, the number of people testing positive for COVID-19 has decreased from 573 to 553 (-4%), while the number of their identified close contacts has increased from 1,112 to 1,477 cases (+33%).

Additional dose of COVID-19 vaccine after initial vaccination for the elderly and dialysis patients
Following the recommendations of the High Council for Infectious Diseases of 7 September 2021, a third "booster" dose of coronavirus vaccination may be administered to the elderly, people in accommodation facilities and patients on dialysis.
