For the week of 4 to 10 October, the number of people testing positive for COVID-19 has increased from 591 to 675 cases (+14%), as well as the number of their identified close contacts, which increased to 3,540, compared to 2,827 cases the week before (+25%).

The Ministry of Health, the High Commission for National Protection and the Ministry of Education, Children and Youth are launching a vaccination campaign for young people in collaboration with secondary schools.

During the week from 27 September to 3 October, the number of people testing positive for COVID-19 remained relatively stable at 591 cases (+0.2%), while the number of their identified close contacts increased from 2,421 to 2,827 (+17%).

For the week of 20 to 26 September, the number of people testing positive for COVID-19 has increased from 542 to 590 cases (+9%), as well as the number of their identified close contacts, which increased to 2,421, compared to 1,857 cases the week before (+30%).

During the week from 13 to 19 September, the number of people testing positive for COVID-19 remained stable at 542 compared to 553 the previous week (-2%), while the number of their identified close contacts increased from 1,477 to 1,857 (+28%).

For the week of 6 to 12 September, the number of people testing positive for COVID-19 has decreased from 573 to 553 (-4%), while the number of their identified close contacts has increased from 1,112 to 1,477 cases (+33%).

Following the recommendations of the High Council for Infectious Diseases of 7 September 2021, a third "booster" dose of coronavirus vaccination may be administered to the elderly, people in accommodation facilities and patients on dialysis.

For the week of 30 August to 5 September, the number of people testing positive for COVID-19 has increased from 542 to 573 (+6%), while the number of their identified close contacts has decreased from 1,514 to 1,112 cases (-27%).

For the week of 23 to 29 August, the number of people testing positive for COVID-19 has increased from 440 to 542 cases (+23%), as well as the number of their identified close contacts, which increased to 1,514, compared to 887 cases the week before (+71%).

For the week of 16 to 22 August, the number of people testing positive for COVID-19 has increased from 295 to 440 cases (+49%), as well as the number of their identified close contacts, which increased to 887, compared to 831 cases the week before (+7%).

For the week of 9 to 15 August, the number of people testing positive for COVID-19 has decreased, for the 6th week in a row, from 404 to 295 cases (-27%), as well as the number of their identified close contacts, which dropped to 831, compared to 1,379 cases the week before (-40%).

For the week of 2 to 8 August, the number of people testing positive for COVID-19 has decreased, for the 5th week in a row, from 439 to 404 (-8%), while the number of their identified close contacts increased from 1,065 to 1,379 (+23%) the previous week.
