New COVID-19 cases - Weekly review: 19 - 25 October.
The number of people testing positive for COVID-19 is up sharply (265%) with 3,387 cases for the week of 19 to 25 October, compared to 1,280 cases for the previous week. The number of contacts also reached a very high level with 9,980 contacts compared to the 7,878 contacts previously identified (+27%).

COVID-19: Adaptation of the self-isolation and self-quarantine procedures to facilitate contact tracing
In view of the worrying increase in the number of new COVID-19 infections over the last three days, the Health Inspectorate's contact tracing unit has adapted its operating mode in order to increase its responsiveness in contacting people. This adaptation will be operational from Friday 23 October 2020.

New COVID-19 cases - Weekly review: 12 - 18 October. The Ministry of Health calls for increased vigilance
The number of people testing positive for COVID-19 is up sharply (59%) with 1,280 cases for the week of 12 to 18 October, compared to 805 cases for the previous week. The number of contacts also reached a very high level with 7,924 contacts compared to the 6,780 contacts previously identified (+17%).

During the week of 5 to 11 October, the number of positive cases (806, +47%) and the number of their identified close contacts (6,868, +50%) increased significantly.

New COVID-19 cases - Weekly review: 28 September - 4 October
During the week of 28 September to 4 October, the number of residents testing positive for COVID-19 is up 19% with 549 people, compared to 460 the previous week. The number of contacts remains at a stable high level with 4,619 compared to 4,666 contacts (-1%) the previous week.

During the week of 7 to 13 September, the number of residents testing positive for COVID-19 remains practically unchanged with 282 people compared to 281 the previous week. The number of PCR tests carried out on residents amounts to 50,912 compared to 47,868 the previous week.

During the week of 10 to 16 August, the number of people testing positive for COVID-19 and the number of contacts are in clear decline. During this period, 249 new infections (-30%), as well as 1,779 contacts (-27%) were recorded.

Further adaptations of measures to fight the COVID-19 pandemic
On 19 July 2020, in response to the upsurge in the number of people infected with the coronavirus that our country is facing, the Government Council adopted the draft law amending the law of 17 July 2020 introducing a series of measures to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.
